Services provided

MAQ Payments provides two main categories of service:

(a) Payroll-as-a-Service (PAAS)

We process payroll for freelancers and contractors under a legitimate PAYE structure, providing verified payslips, tax deductions, and employment documentation in accordance with UK law.

(b) Paymentasset acquisitions 

We acquire verified digital business infrastructure (such as payment processing accounts, SOPs, and automations) through formal, contract-backed asset transfer agreements.

All services are conducted in compliance with applicable UK regulations, GDPR, and our partner policies (including Stripe’s Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy).

Eligibility

To use MAQ Payments services, you must:

- Be at least 18 years of age.

- Reside or operate within the United Kingdom.

- Have legal authority to enter into binding agreements.

- Use MAQ Payments only for lawful purposes and legitimate commercial activity.

We reserve the right to verify identity and reject any application that does not meet our eligibility standards.

Contracts & agreements

All service relationships are formalised through signed agreements before commencement.

No verbal, informal, or implied arrangements shall be considered binding.

Each contract outlines the scope, responsibilities, and payment schedule specific to that transaction.

Payments

All payments made to or from MAQ Payments are processed through the UK Faster Payments network.

Payment timelines and structures are defined within each signed agreement.

You are responsible for ensuring accurate banking details are provided before any transaction.

Legal compliance

All MAQ Payments operations are conducted under the laws of England and Wales.
We operate in accordance with:

- UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018

- HMRC PAYE and employment tax regulations

- Stripe’s Terms of Service (for asset acquisitions)

- UK financial conduct and anti-fraud regulations

We will not engage with any client or seller involved in unlawful or restricted activity.

Data protection

We handle all personal and business data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your data for operational and compliance purposes.

Liability

MAQ Payments shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from the use of our services, except where required by law.

We assume responsibility only from the point at which a formal contract is executed and the relevant transfer or payroll process begins.

Prior activity, data, or obligations remain the sole responsibility of the client or seller.

Termination

Either party may terminate a contract by written notice in accordance with the terms specified in the agreement.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our services if:

- Misrepresentation or fraudulent information is provided.

- Our systems or policies are misused.

- There is a breach of UK law or partner terms.

Intellectual property

All website content, documentation, and materials provided by MAQ Payments remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit any materials without prior written consent.

Governing law

These Terms and all related activities are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
